UPCA code is linear barcode symbology that consists of 12 numerical digits. In UPCA code these 12 numeric digits are represented by unique pattern of two bars and spaces. UPCA code is optical pattern of bars and spaces that encode the UPC digit string. The bars and spaces of UPCA code are variable width. It is also called as the UPC (Universal Product Code) barcode or UPC symbol.
