QR code (Quick Response code) is 2D barcode that is read by smart phone and other QR-code reading devices.
QR or Quick Response Codes is type of 2D barcodes that are read by almost all smart phones (android, blackberry, iPhone etc) and other QR reading devices. QR-code can link directly to text, emails, websites, phone numbers etc. Firstly the QRcode is used in automotive industry, but in present days it is used on variety of applications due to its fast readability and large storage capacity as compare to other barcode symbologies. The information that is encoded within QR-code can be made of four kinds of data i.e. numeric, alphanumeric, byte/binary and kanji.
